MISSION
Real culture is born from the streets. And real culture is always born out of rebellion. Rap music grew out of Blues and became something entirely its own: a true act of defiance, from the graffiti on the walls to its lyrics. Metal is its own rebellion with its headbanging and pogo. And WAGZ did it with its NFT Collection. We believe people of street culture will find their counterparts in our collection. Because we come from that culture.
We are artists. We are fueled by the artists. We question, we research, we think. We try, we fail, and we try again. In the end, we find solutions and come up with new ideas. We are a little crazy — sometimes a weirdo — and we know how to have a good time. And sometimes we want to build a business, too! Our own baby. WAGZ provides Web3 tools for artists and entrepreneurs in the Crypto and NFT space to build their own babies. WAGMI!
VISION
WAGZ is not just a business. Our vision is a living, breathing Web3 community in Vienna — where people building the future from all over the world come together. Where ideas are exchanged, collaborations are born, and we bring the brightest minds in the space to share their wisdom.
Our physical spaces to come are also a gateway for Web2 people — not drawn in by bull market charts, but by the real values of Web3: transparency, ownership, and genuine community. When this happens, Vienna will become famous for something else, other than the culinary.
The Team
Mario Buchecker
Founder — "DaBuchi"
Born into a catering family with 30+ years of hands-on experience, Mario knows the restaurant world inside-out. He's lived in Vienna for 40 years and watched the city's famous coffee-house culture evolve — and now he's here to reinvent it. His thesis: gastronomy hasn't been reinvented yet, and blockchain is exactly the tool to do it. WAGZ is his answer to that challenge.
Typo
Lead Artist — NFT Collection
Turkey-based illustrator and digital artist. Armed with relentless curiosity, Typo spent years as a graphic designer before a one-way trip to Southeast Asia rebooted everything — launching a T-shirt brand, falling for typography, and discovering motion graphics along the way. Now the lead illustrator for WAGZ, he designed all 10,000 unique NFT characters. The name may hint at mistakes; every pixel is intentional.
Poly
Creative Technologist
Born and raised in Istanbul, Poly has been figuring things out — and fixing them — since childhood. A graphic designer by origin, an insatiable curiosity has pulled him across disciplines: photography, video, audio production, and software.
He calls himself a self-educated "computer operator," an old-school term for someone who gets things done digitally — back when the job existed but the tools were few. Today the tools are infinite, and so is the scope.
